People are all aware that vegetables and fruits are kinds of foods that are healthy. They obviously contain many nutrients (vitamins and minerals) that provide health benefits to the body. Prevent illness, increase energy, build up muscles, you name them. As a caution, not all foods, whether they are fruits and vegetables or not, are not all organic. Yes, even your favorite apple may not be really pure organic at all.

Farming has two major process of planting for food production. The first one is the use of artificial ingredients or synthetic materials during the process of production or manufacturing. The second one is simply without the use of any of those, including pesticides, chemical fertilizers, weed killers and even synthetic drugs. The latter is the process that produces organic foods. In other words, organic foods are only termed when they are planted, produced, and manufactured without any synthetic or artificial ingredients used throughout the process. If there are other things included during the process of manufacturing foods, the natural nutrients are certainly reduced, which then become non-organic. That means if you are eating foods that are actually non-organic, the vitamins and minerals you need are not already 100%.

Organic foods do not only pertain to vegetables, fruits, and other crops. They also include dairy product and meat. In fact, they can be found in cans and packs. Foods that are produced fresh from the farm are not easy to tell whether they are organic or non-organic. You may conclude they are fertilized or probably not. Just always check the packaging and see if they contain organic foods and ingredients or find out the percentage.

Organic foods definitely weigh more than non-organic foods when it comes to healthiness and nutritional value. That’s the major advantage of why people, yes including you and your family, have to eat more organic foods. Other than that, there are different effects organic foods can bring not only to the health and body of humans but also to animals and the environment.

In organic farming, this won’t require any chemicals to process the growth and production of foods. So, the absence of chemicals is major help to the environment. It is one of the solutions against air pollution because there are no chemicals and toxins mixed in the food that may eventually spread through the air.

Foods that are 100% or at least 70% organic are good for the health of a mother and her baby during pregnancy. Whatever she eats is going to be consumed by her baby. And everyone knows very well the effect of what a mother consumes in her belly to her baby.

Believe it or not, organic foods also bring out the natural and rich flavor. The sweetness or saltiness that you taste on most grocery products are basically produced with additives and preservatives which do the trick. But in organic foods, you can have the natural taste firsthand. Plus, that’s seriously healthy at all and nothing to worry about whether they make you fat or ill.

One specific health benefits organic foods bring is weight loss. To rephrase that actually, it’s safe weight loss. Foods like that do not contain bad cholesterol and fat. If there are, it is not quite enough to make you fat in just several weeks even if you take them every single day. Well, this can probably solve some of the issues of women and men about gaining fat, can’t it?

The bottom line is that there’s nothing to lose if you just eat more organic foods every day. It is not something that would make you feel terrible anyway. You can plant some potatoes, eggplants, tomatoes or anything easy to produce from soil in your own backyard. Well, that is if you are allowed to do so in your region. That’s not really an issue or illegal at all as long as it’s your property anyway. When you buy some grocery items, fill your cart with some “Made from Organic” foods as well whether they are snacks, ingredients to dishes or beverages. In the end, you are going to benefit the goodness organic foods provides to the body while you are contributing to help save the environment.
